But for the popular media, the blogophere is the province of the right. Like with talk radio. Whether that is true or not, and I suspect that it isn't true, is beside the point. The right doesn't have a lock on rage, ideas, or awareness. Although they like to pretend that they do. Ok, the left has to bear the burden of sites like onlinejournal or motherjones. But there are plenty of others with more rational viewpoints. And there is a growing number that reject traditional left/right orientation, especially in an environment where 'right' means 'pro-Bush'. We have reached one of those inflection points where things change abruptly. Keep good backups. So you can show your kids that you were there during the revolution. Because, as teenagers, they will never believe you were anything but a visionless plodder. Trust me on this.
