"I'm not clear on what you are asking."

It's not that difficult. I'm asking that if you have anything substantive (not just words) that illustrates how my assertion that we want a puppet government in Iraq is wrong, I'm open to hearing it.

I never ever claimed to be any type of spokesman for the administration. They could not pay me enough to take such a position.

I cannot prove that my earlier assertion is a fact, but I stand by that statement, until it is proven otherwise. And I doubt that will happen. We could easily just turn things over and get out if that's all we wanted.

My personal version of what a success would be in Iraq is irrelevant because it would include actual sovereignty and freedom from economic constraints that allow us to remain in control. No structural adjustment programs.

That is not going to happen.

I have already said on another thread that I would like the Administration to clarify their contingencies for success and withdrawal because I don't know what they are.

Nobody knows.

I am not sure how you qualify yourself as a spokesperson for the Administration but you may or may not be correct about how they see things. I don't have a way to verify that for myself one way or another, until I see an official statement from them.

You'd think that 5 years and 2500 dead would be a long enough wait for an official statement.

Maybe you should become a Dumbya administration spokesman.

How long will you wait for an "official statement" from the Dumbya administration? Maybe after another 3 years and after another 2500+ US soldiers are killed and after another 20,000+ are maimed, and after another 300B goes down the drain???? Or maybe not?!

As to what would constitute a win for the USA in Iraq, occupying a nation is a prescription for defeat. The only winning move was never to have invaded in the first place.

No power can win against the will of the people of an occupied nation who are ready to die by the millions to preserve their freedom.
