My hard hat is a Bullard aluminum hard hat with three parallel beads on top, and a small bill. I've worn it since 1963, which is when I bought it so I wouldn't have to wear used hats. It was the state of the art at the time, but since the government has insisted that people wear plastic hard hats, which I dislike. If somebody wanted to be hardnosed, they could have made me get rid of it on the job, but I never did. It's mine, and I like it. I don't run into too much stuff because of my hardhat. Mostly lowhanging branches and so forth. Your hard hat looks very effective. I wear something like that when I bike.
