Bush in West Virginia signing a "mine safety" bill after his administration stripped mine safety regulations down to almost nothing in 2001 then refused to enforce them for five years, resulting in many deaths of miners. Bush is playing damage control BS games in order to try and trick swing-state rural mine workers. Shame on him after he disregarded their safety for years. This same kind of dishonesty is being played out all across the map now that election season has begun. The Bushies are trying to portray themselves as the OPPOSITE of what they really are. Bush is talking environmentalism after 5 years of trashing environmental protection. Bush is talking victory after three years of a disasterous losing non-plan in Iraq. And the Bushie smear and fear campaign has begun again, starting by smearing 35 year Marine veteran John Murtha, the most respected military man in congress. Shame on Bushies again. dishonest to the core.
