Can't someone just give me one or two or three crisp, targeted sentences about how a USSC decision saying that, if the police don't both knock and announce, merely announce, it's OK to use the evidence found in the search further erodes our civil liberties even marginally? I'm not a stupid person and I understand the English language pretty well. But I'm having trouble finding an actual explanation, only assertions and complaints. That PDF you offered didn't address the subject at all, let alone explain it. It was entirely off topic.
