That's one issue I agree with you about.

Heck, lefties have as many guns as righties. Church folk don't have guns and tree huggers don't. But in between it's split. Gun rights will be taken away by the righties if they are taken away. It will be done for national security reasons...to keep the guns out of the hands of terrorists.

For me gays have the same protections I have already, don't need anymore and don't need an amendment against them - this singling out groups thing pisses me off. If States wish to allow marriage, let'em - but don't go re-writing my kids textbooks to discuss the twelve types of families, grade school kids don't need the extra confusion.

Guns are a right, says so in a piece of paper and nearly every state constitution interprets it that way as well.

Abortion, used it twice, have two kids - it's a personal choice and yes it's murder.

All three of those issues waste more time than any other and have almost nothing to do with the issues facing our country - I wish both dumbass parties would stop beating each other over these unresolvable issues, agree to disagree and leave them alone for ever.

I agree with you. I think the Dems should get behind gun ownership. The difference is, it's not even in my top ten issues in importance.
