Buddy, If and when the heirs spend the money from a trust, they also pay state, and local, taxes when they spend it. Since the income tax has already been paid by the trust owner, it is unfair to tax the heirs. They will be taxed enough when they spend the money.

The owner of the trust has already paid the same taxes as a worker, there is not that much of a difference.

In most cases the owner of the trust is only changed when the original owner has died. The original owner, in a way, is giving his heirs a gift. Are we now expected to pay a tax on every gift someone gives us? I think not.

You're kidding, right? There is no justification for the death tax, none, except the democrats wanted more money.
