>>Do you evidence that this is the case?<<

The answer is YES!

1. ALL those company withhold the first 1-3 months of pay, and they will confisticate those salary in case the worker want to leave before finishing the contract (and before they sign the contract, those capitalists never tell them the truth that they would have to work 12-15 hrs. a day in case needed, and CANNOT even sit for ONE single minute!).

2. the building has security men on duty 24/7, FORBIDDEN outsiders going in, and insiders coming out. One would have to have special permit to go in or come out. This is HOW Apple KEEPS their so-called IP right and business secret! Complete BS! and a bunch of Fascists!

3. Outside the company building, there are 2 ambulances on duty 24/7. I have NEVER see any US companies equip themselves with this. WHY? your guess is as good as mine. My guess is that the intensity of the work is extreme even for those young workers so the company has to be prepared!

4.Workers cannot switch their assigned day off, and in case they have to switch due to some emergency, that day will be NO pay (deduced from the base pay)

Here is a Chinese article said the base pay in iPod assembly company is 30% lower than the Shen Zhen official regulation. And the worker turnover rate is 30% per annum, but vast majority of them do not leave until after finishing their 1 year contract, or their pay for the first month will be confisticated.
