Interesting you should say that. My Dad was a pitcher and played at Harvard 42. He took some srapnel in his right shoulder in the service. He played amateur ball in the summer and began throwing all kinds of junk - knuckler, slider, change-up and slow curves...couldn't through a fast ball anymore. I'd watch his games in the Twilight League. Sometimes he would let me warm him up - the knuckler was like catching a brick...totally scarey for a kid to catch.

Like your Dad, my Dad taught me how to pitch. A wonderful memory - thanks for pulling it in!

My dad taught me how to pitch too, starting with a simple windup and moving through pitch selection and location as I got older. Great memories.
