Ish lives in the heart of the corn belt. Last time I talked to him he was suggesting soy beans as the crop that would do well in his region for ethanol production, not corn...He's probably got some new ideas now. He is a big supporter of wind energy. The biggest wind farm in the world is being built near him. He has answered every question I could think of about the future of alternative energy, with authority... especially regarding farm resources. I am careful to verify information I get on these SI threads and found his information to always be top notch, and he has no problem admitting it when he doesn't know something. My only complaint is that I can't keep up with him.

You would do yourself a big favor by asking questions of someone like him instead of acting so haughty. He is amazingly, knowledgeable, fair, and forgiving of people like you. A great man and a tremendous resource.
