I'm sure we're all dreaming that The Motley Fool will give a great recommendation that will cause LBWR to soar to the dollar range or more. The reality is that TMF is a great site, well-respected, with a history of great work in many aspects of the market and financial advice in general. However, one area in which they have absolutely zero experience is in penny stocks, however that is defined (in general under $5 stocks are forbidden for discussion on their boards), and in particular OTC BB and pinkies. I'd be willing to bet that those who trade pinkies and OTC BB could run circles around TMF writers in both knowledge and trading of in this world in which we find ourselves. That's not to demean TMF or its writers, of whom I have great respect. It's just not their "thang" and not their field. So, there are at least 2 strikes against us here, even before we step up to the plate. You and I believe that through our hard work and DD, we can encourage CEO's to be transparent, shareholder friendly and honest in their projections, to share a common goal towards which both shareholders and management will prosper. I doubt that TMF writers will be able to educate themselves on the vagaries of the pinksheet system or the way that trading actually works. Certainly, they will have no clue as to the fact that float and perception are more important, quite frankly than o/s and financial niceties. Note to bashing worms: I'm not saying that this is the way it should be. Anyone who trades here actively knows that this is the reality, one that many of us are working to change. And change may very well come with LBWR and NNYG, as we have found CEO's who listen and understand that there is a value in building up a strong and loyal shareholder base. They are bombarded on a daily basis by promoters and vulture financiers, often working together, who tempt them with that forbidden fruit of quick and easy money. "Issue more paper. Nobody will know for awhile. It will be dumped before you disclose it. We won't sell it ever or at least until you're over a buck. So what's a few points up front? This is nothing compared to the millions you'll be making. Get the family ready for Hawaii and your new Mercedes, etc., etc., etc." Need I go on? Given all that, keep in mind what I often post to my bashing friends (and, as typical, I use that term lovingly), that any stock can be bashed, particularly of course penny stocks and pink penny stocks. It's easy to find something, upon which a determined basher can focus. I often cause the basher to run and hide by challenging him to give me a couple of his favorite penny plays so I can evaluate it. The rare time that a basher has give me a couple has led to a rapid retreat in the basher's favorite stock and in his resulting online demeanor. As Sgt. Friday used to say, "no brag, just fact." or perhaps as the Mikey commercial said, "Try it, you'll like it." It's not rocket science. All stocks CAN, including this one, be bashed. I'd be very, very happy if TMF does nothing and comes up with nothing to bash here. I'm already prepared that they will. Their whole enterprise is built on various assumptions, one of which is that stocks that they consider penny stocks (again in general under $5) should be avoided. Will they change that and jeopardise that history for our stock here? I doubt it. OK - I hope I'm wrong. I love dreams too. But I ain't counting on it.
