It was $40 when they came into office and $74 today, hardly 500% - now if you cherry pick the low it's done rather well. Overall, it's done rather poorly for the last six years.

Under Clinton it was an honest 500% over his time in office.

I suppose you could make the case it was Cheney's leadership within the company and it took time for them to recover after he left.
