I thought that late in the Hopkins/Tarver fight, Tarver and his corner would say: "No Mas".
I also thought that Taylor shoulda gotten the decision but only because of Winky's last two rounds. One or more flurries in the corner would have won it for Winky. By the way, he really doesn't have any power in his punches. He really hit Taylor with some flush shots that other than an ugly grimace, seemed to have little effect.
Prior to watching the Hopkins fight, I was watching the legends film on Marciano. HIs victory over Archie Moore was remarkable cuzz of both the Rocks incredible drive and the Mongoose's ability and capacity to take punishment and not quit. I was wondering how both Moore and Sugar Ray Robinson would have handled Hopkins. My idealization of the former two makes me think that they would have taken Hopkins. It is very hard for me though to really assess Hopkins talent. I know his record, etc..but other than Roy Jones Jr., who has he really beaten other than some smaller, pretty good fighters. Jones may have handled Robinson but not Moore, IMHO. What do others think?

Also, back to Marciano, his one punch knockout of Jersey Joe Wolcott was stupendous. I would have loved to have been able to see a Marciano/Joe Frazier fight.
