Baloney, serious scientists around the world are warning us that if we continue to dump CO2 and CH4 into the atmosphere we will see a 3 to 8 C rise in temperatures by 2100, see: en.wikipedia.org All those acronyms are scientific organizations around the world making the warming predictions, and those predictions include the less dramatic global sea warming projects, so the overall warming is 2 to 5 C, but is in the 3 to 8 C range for atmospheric temperatures predictions if you read the reference. CO2 and CH4 levels are well above any levels determined by scientists to have occurred over the past 400,000 years. How can you actually think that we can alter CO2 and CH4 so much without creating a natural reaction? It's just common sense that nature is going to respond. I will listen to the scientists with their decades of training and study on this important issue. What are your creditials, besides an angry person who thinks everything is a socialist plot? Do these scientists actually get their funding from secret socialist societies? Where's it coming from China? Such an assertion by you is totally unsupportable, please demonstrate how global warming is a socialist plot? If anything, the economic activity that would occur if we actually took global warming seriously and changed over our trillions of dollars worth of energy economy to a new cleaner global warming neutral technology would make many capitialist minded persons very rich. There's a lot of money to be made when a new technology is introduced, especially in a field as large and widespread as energy. I do not see anything socialist about it. I do see our federal government shelling out 100s of Billions per year to protect the oil supplies with the U.S. military, and that surely is a form of socialism, as they are subsidizing the cost of oil and spreading the burden of paying the true cost of oil to the broader society (i.e. socialism). I guess if you support our war policies for oil then you are a closet socialist, but you probably are not sophisticated enought to figure that out. It's all black and white with you, even though the real socialists are in Washington, DC in both the Republican and Democratic parties, as they spend everyone's money on a social engineering project known as the U.S. military's oil protection missions.
