Bush's dozens of flipflops come covered with evasive spin. Just look at most of his 2000 campaign pledges when he was dishonestly running as a "compassionate", "humble", "honest and dignified" moderate conservative. And don't you love the one where he promised, if elected, he would "jawbone OPEC to bring down oil prices"? Bush is guilty of not only scads of broken promises, but even worse are the major colossal intentional lies he's told us to try and cover-up what he's really doing and what he's really after, and the massive corruption he's brought to DC. SO much of what Bush says and has done are just plain corrupt. Let's take an example, the Dubai Ports deal. Bush claims he didn't know about it, but was so determined to defend it he was willing to use his first and only veto (he has never vetoed a single pork-laden over-spending bill). Well now, why would Bush care so much about handing our ports over to the Arabs? The truth never did come out, but you will find it if you delve deeply enough into the world of the Carlyle Group and the longterm Bush-Saudi connections. That is where Bush's main bread is butetred, by the same country that sponsors the most terrorist in the world. Bush even got a check from the Bin Laden family, as his father has many times. Mr. War On Terror. What a phony. BTW: Bush also flipflopped on Dubai Ports after the GOP congress rebelled against him on it. That was a clear flipflop and Bush gave no explanation.
