Bush lied when he said "when they stand up we stand down". That was about a year ago. Since then, Iraqis have stood up, several hundred thousand of them, but I just heard Rumsfield is sending MORE US TROOPS to Iraq. In other words, Bush lied again. Just like his lie about cutting the deficit in half in five years, firing anyone in the WH who leaked or pushing hydrogen car programs. All just BS meant to placate people temporarily, then he never follows through. He also didn't follow through with No Child Left Behind, jawboning OPEC to bring down prices and a host of other pledges.
