You're misinterpreting EVERYTHING being said in this issue. I did not say the Government had no right to change the Constitution or to replace the Coinage Act with another Act. I simply said that the country was founded on the silver/gold standard. Whether or not going off the gold standard was ethical and beneficial or unethical and ultimately hurtful--THAT is a question that may be legitimately argued.
