Our Founding Fathers limited the federal government to collecting import duties for revenue. They intended to keep the Feds poor. It is too bad we have reversed the balance of power.

YEAH...and if we just eliminated ALL taxes..period, then everything would be much simpler. A consumption or flat tax would be simpler and more fair. It would be great for Paris Hilton. I've heard she really doesn't like to be bothered with financial minutiae. Wow. You are a hater aren't you.
