Not a single major rightwing leader has ever served in combat. You guys don't seem to grasp the fact that this entire war has been run by spin-happy, misleading, elitist/effete policy-makers and defence contractor types who have no personal experience at combat. None at all. You also don't seem to grasp that when Jack Murtha speaks, he's speaking for the troops and the Generals at the Pentagon who can't speak out without resigning first. That is why so many retired generals are speaking out. Dozens of them. Because they are alarmed Bushies have totally forgotten the painful lessons of Vietnam and are repeating the blunders and lies in Iraq.
