Whenever someone attributes anything to one motive, or as a result of singularity in circumstance, or one single entity is to blame for a situation..., I suspect they have corrupt reasons to do so.

The naivete is yours in expecting thoughtful persons to dismiss the complexity of conditions. That may have a place in rallying extremists behind a banner but it has no value in thoughtful discourse.
