Well, as I've said before, I haven't seen the movie. I'll wait for the book so I won't have to look at him or listen to his voice, as I suffer from Gore Derangement Syndrome.

Bailey might be outright lying about the movie, but if he is not than Gore is indeed exaggerating the effects of global warming. Bailey quotes Gore as saying "what is at stake [is] our ability to live on planet Earth, to have a future as a civilization." If Gore doesn't say that then either Bailey doesn't know the movie he is trying to review or he is lying about Gore's statements. If Gore did say that then Gore is exaggerating.
