Well look at it this way- someone on this thread just said it had something to do with the end of civilization. Go figure. I didn't get that out of it. Serious effects from global warming? sure, very possible - but the End of Civilization? Nope.

I don't know everything Gore has said elsewhere. I'm just commenting on the movie. I find the website to be more "scary" than the movie. The movie was fairly calm for the most part. Some of the graphs were pretty interesting, and obviously impressed some people in the audience (based on the "gasp" factor), but I'd seen most of them already. If you wrapped everything Gore has said elsewhere in to the equation I wouldn't know where to begin to research that, and I wouldn't want to, hence my statement limited to the movie. When you start to argue about things based on every tangential comment possible, and you have to look all that up, I lose interest.
