If not for a family illness that necessitated I stay home, I would have been in the courtroom today. I'm curious what the reaction from the audience was. When you face up to life in prison, no matter how remote the chances of getting it, I suppose getting 11 years is somewhat hopeful. Not that anyone would ever want to spend a single day in jail if they could avoid it, but I guess everything is relative. Regardless, it's hard to say how many years Tony will end up serving given his appeal has yet to be heard.

11 years sounds about right, assuming it really means about another 4 years from now before parole.

Great to have closure. Now I can finally un-bookmark this thread.
