Murtha is trying to save our military. Bush-Cheney have trashed our military in Iraq, and for dishonest reasons and purposes. In fact we still don't know why the hell they really invaded. Must be for Halliburton and Exxon. Only thing I can figure out. Saddam could have been handled in countless other ways which were much smarter. Back to Bush-Cheney trashing our military, remember they falsely told our troops they were going in to liberate and secure WMD, and that the war would be over in a matter of weeks or months. Bush even landed on the aircaft carrier and basically said the mission was accomplished. Now the troops have a new mission, and anhopeless one so long as they remain in the quagmire Bush put them in. Why are rightwingers giving Bush-cheney a pass about the biggest military policy blunder since 1964-1965 and all the days and profiteering associated with it? All this is doing is weakening us and making defence contractors rich off deficit spending.
