Yes, there is and I recently learned that Methane has increased even faster than CO2, but there is less of it to begin with. I am reading a book called Climate right now that really delves into how our climate was formed billions of years ago and how it has varied over the eons. Facinating stuff. One thing of note is that CO2 is about 100 PPM higher than at any other time in the 400,000 record of CO2 that has been put together by climate scientists. It's hard to imagine that such an imbalance will not cause climatic changes.
