Rove is putting his faith in the Hannity-Limbaugh propaganda machine which has virtual monopoly in many peoples lives as the source of so-called "news". But I just can't see it working again. People have really woken up. for instance, I very much doubt military voters are even 50% for Bush anymore. Maybe not even 40%.

Rove may have jumped the gun last week because what he did was to turn the upcoming election into a referendum on Bush and the Iraq War. And with the economy slipping now, they won't have that issue to use either. Basically it looks like a case of going to the well one too many times. or the boys who cried wolf.
