Brutalizing children in school; "jokes" about assassinating Bush (i.e. Randi Rhoades on Air Unamerica, the Dem pol who recently introduced Schumer as someone who'd "put a bullet between the President's eyes if he could"); the conspiratorial worldview ( i.e. the Diebold election stealing conspiracy claim; the 911 "truth" folks - the modern version of those who insisted Bush I flew a secret mission to Paris before the 1980 election to cut a secret deal with Iran to not release the hostages before the 1980 election) All similar to characteristics of developing fascism in Europe.
