this was all about training, specifically:

"...the training was expensive, about $US9000 ($12,200) for nine months of intensive schooling"

Not some sort of "desire to do good".

And nobody said that animals don't have "intelligence or thought process", the argument, if you recall was whether animals have the same capacity to do good or evil that the human species does.

It's biology 101 man...that little "frontal lobe" thing is hard to get around.
