Phil > Searle has made many attempts to explain why many Jews are against Zionism, against the establishment of the State of Israel in the first place on religious teachings, and see the Palestinian struggle against Israel therefore as justified. But I don't want to put words into his mouth in case I misstate his views.

That's absolutely correct. Of course, I can only give my opinion and for what it's worth -- and I'm no authority.

Thanks for the input, but I still didn't get the answer I was looking for. I'm asking if the board has a uniform definition of what it means to be a Zionist. Do people here even know what Zion means?

Obviously if practically every other post has words such as Zion or Zionism, Israel, Jews, anti-Semtism, etc., it seems logical that everyone should get acquainted with the proper definition of these terms.

I assure you that much of the world has no clue as to the proper definition of these terms. Most people have let the Jewish media teach them how they're supposed to interpret these words, and they are all skewed to deceive people.
