The newly elected and democratic country of Iraq has asked for our help in fighting terrorists in their country. We're still helping South Korea, Japan, Germany and other countries around the world keep there cherished institutions of democracy, yet many on the left are not willing to help a new democracy in the middle east.

This leads me to the possibility that racism toward middle eastern people is a motivating factor. The leading opponents of America's involvement in helping the democratically elected government of Iraq, would rather see a fascist country, instead of one that supports democracy and freedom.

After seeing the genocide created by fascists and dictatorships in the past two centuries, this leads me to the further conclusion that these same individuals are anti-human rights, anti-human dignity, and anti-human.
