I think it is somewhere in the middle though Heinz admits that manipulation does occur in the short run. We will see how it plays out over the next half year. One thing is for certain, there is no other market where the short position is as large and where as much "production" (if Heinz is correct) is sold forward as far ahead. Now why this is the case in silver and no other commodity should be asked no matter what! If I remember correctly, in silver the commercials on the COMEX have never been net long. Again, to my knowledge, the only market where that is the case!

If silver hits $20 by April 2007 then I personally believe Butler will likely have been correct.

Which ever way it goes, Butler knows the silver market better than most and is absolutely essential reading if you invest there.
