Cyprian > The Jews CANNOT keep these laws even if they tried. Why can't you understand or accept this?

I don't sit in judgement on other people as you do. As far as I am aware, the Jews, certainly the religious ones, do try to adhere to the Mitzvot.

> So it is today. The Jews make a pretense of feasting and fasting all over the disapora when they are in strange lands. They are doing this for themselves, certainly not for the Lord.

It could well be so. The more I learn about the Jewish religion, the less sense it makes. In fact, I have often wondered why they even keep the religion? At least with Christianity the pay-off comes in the next life so they can be promised anything.

> The stupid and insolent Jews understand none of this, and think they are pleasing God with their untimely observance of Jewish rites outside of Jerusalem which even their holy Fathers didn't dare to perform.

I don't think Jews (or anyone else, for that matter) sit down and analyse the religion before they practice it. For most, they simply do what their parents do and go along blindly. I thought about it and gave it up as hog-wash. When I'm dead, I'm dead. No afterlife for me. No fairy tales.
