Re: "offered my thoughts on this subject, and you have not."

Of COURSE I have... OVER and OVER, ad nausium.

The one thing I am totally not shy about expounding is my STRONG belief in individual Liberty.

Re: Your "argument" is that liberty is more important to you than it is to me,

(No. I'm not 'arguing' that --- it would be a waste of time. Of course, I *do believe it*, but you needn't let it trouble your sleep any. <GGG>)

Re: "Only a bunch of quotes from other people...."

Some VERY EXCELLENT QUOTES, from some of the greatest political theorists and proponents of the Rights of Man in American history! ...Which you seem to not have given much regard to (sorta helping to establish my earlier belief --- that individual Liberty is probably something you give 'lip service' to more then actually DEMAND from your society....)

But, relax... I'm not trying to call you any names, or anything like that, Scott. Simply pointing out that it's ridiculous to assert that individual Liberty (and smaller, less intrusive government... core Libertarian beliefs, both) is not fundamental to my personal political philosophy....
