They tend to stick with what's worked in the past. By definition, conservatives are slow to adopt new ideas, but lately, liberals have been suffering the same problem. Yup. New ideas have really slowed down in liberal think centers like SF0 and Seatac and Boston. Its two bad people don't like their new iPods and razors and treos. Its really lame that google is such a colossal failure. Its too bad Gore didn't realize the value of the internet and didn't promote it. It's too bad film studios are going under due to a lack of new film ideas. I am saddened that Harvard plans to close next year because it can't think of anything new to teach. On the contrary, liberalism is strong and growing in this country. And its the only ~ism that will save this country's ass now that Bush has put it into a sling. Clever guy, that Rove! Making liberalism so strong! As for political correctness, surprise, surprise........ it comes from the "free market of ideas". A while ago, you were demanding that Rush and Coulter should be censored. That's not the "free market of ideas." If I said it, I misspoke or you misunderstood me. I want them to blab their mouths off. They are the best thing for enhancing the left's "free market of ideas".Only recently have you suggested that they should be allowed to talk so that the public can decide for themselves. Now that's progress, IMO ... ;-) Again, censoring them was not my position. If I did, I said it in the heat of anger. The best thing for this country is for those two people to have maximum exposure........just like with Robertson and Falwell.
