"The common good requires that at least one branch of government be removed from control by the Republican Party." The Republican party is experiencing some natural dynamic division. The system can't accommodate singularity in viewpoint. That doesn't mean the Democratic party will automatically be awarded some 'fair' portion. If they can't step up and make legitimate claim the heart of the people, that role will pass on to another entity; either by the rise of a new third party or by natural division of the now 'conservative' party. The Dem party has been unwilling to formulate its own principle based agenda for the good of the realm for several years now. If you insist on thinking Bush Bashing accomplishes anything substantial then you are emblematic of the situation.
