The problem here loantech is that one can only play brinksmanship so many time before someone makes a mistake.

And in a nuclear age only one mistake is needed.

My worry is that too many people do not seem to understand that. It is like going all in, in no limit poker. One can only get away with that so many times.

It is like flipping a coin, pretty tough to even get 4 or 5 in a row.

I do not see the US smartening up and that really has me concerned. I watched Al Gore on Charlie Rose and Larry King and he was so smart about things. And then I see today 48% of people would not vote for him.

People who cannot see the difference between Gore and Bush blows me away. How can anyone not see the difference??

And 5 years of watching Bush tell people there is a connection between 9/11 and Iraq and still huge numbers of people either believing this or not caring. All Republican congressional people still defend the false connection between 9/11 and the invasion of Iraq still today.

And they have to know that is a bold faced lie and they do not care, nor does the public apparently.

This is the most concerned I have been since the Cuban missle crises and the movie 13 days showed how close we were to thermonuclear war with the Russians then.

In fact if the generals had not been overridden by John and Bobby Kennedy none of us would be here to day most likely.
And Bush is no Kennedy.

What is going on is crazy.
