Personally I find it refreshing that any party is willing to publicly air a genuine debate of critical and literally life-and-death issues for hundreds-of-thousands of U.S. soldiers and millions of civilians. The standard monolithic partisan model STARTS with politically-driven conclusions, and then acts as a spin machine and filter rather than getting it all on the table before a decision. Our country needs to get this right, it can easily get worse. It isn't black vs. white, good vs. evil, lets get beyond that as a nation.
