Splendid idea! I put into service the world's first Wireless Local Loop back in 1995. That early fixed line replacement market was taken over with the advent of pre-paid, cheaper access mobile. But those technologies, albeit kept in the back burner, are maturing and coming on stream.

The center of gravity of my track record is 2G/3G since this is the major market where the money was. But I have also worked in the field of New Generation/IP network in Malaysia deploying systems from the company IP Wireless.
It didn't go too far because the customer could not raise money beyond what he'd got from the Islamic Development bank.
(A Kuwaiti bank that loans to Islamic countries) and he didn;t want to open up his company.

It would be wise for me to look carefully and start porting that what I've got to the new markets Wimax/WiFi and all other RF technologies complementary to the traditional wireless networks.

I am passionate at this work of deploying new technologies (in fact I love to kick asses of incumbents). We will be, from now on, deploying new networks to complement the existing ones.

You're very correct: Soon, hanging and coupling GPS/phone/tracking devices on every piece of expensive capital equipment or cargo moving about to track location, performance, maintenance...

Thanks! Much appreciated.
