The "Dark Side" did kinda lay it all out didn't it? Cheney's public statements before the war now look ridiculous and so "fearmongering" as to be laughable. I actually think the neo-cons had good intentions in wanting to establish a viable democracy in Iraq. They were just so arrogant in their desire for their "end result" that they just gave short shrift to the realities of what that might actually entail.
