As for gun control, I would submit that the percentage of people concerned about gun proliferation is much larger, and much more at risk from a direct injury than the "decency" brigade. I won't argue with that. I'll only argue that the two "problems" are similarly situated with regards to feasibility. And I argue that only because so many seem oddly indifferent to the relationship between their proposed solutions and the feasibility of fixing the problem. No other parallels are implied.
