Sixteen-term Rep. John Murtha (news, bio, voting record), a decorated Vietnam veteran and military hawk, has become the face of the Democrats' anti-war movement since he called for the withdrawal of U.S. troops last fall. His oft-repeated criticism of the Bush administration's war policies also has earned him the wrath of Republicans Mr. Murtha does us proud! He's taking a whole lot of flak for his position and the GOP are working over time to remove him from office this fall. Its an election to watch! Some slimy guy named gus or greg beck was in Pittsburgh this past weekend talking about how the GOP was taking over Murtha's district.
