Bringing our troops home is just common sense and the right thing to do. It's not right or left. It's also waht 90% of our military desperately wants now. The war in Iraq is a total farce. It's just Vietnam II. In other words, a huge mistake based on lies and corruption.

If Bush-Cheney had told the truth and been smart leaders this couldn't be an issue, but they have totally bungled the war and lied to the US public and congress about Iraq since day one. They even accused honest critics of being "traitors an cowards", and are still spouting those ridiculous lies.

Their war is a boondoggle which only Halliburton gained from, and we the people need to force them to bring our troops home and hold themselves accountable. Bush-cheney-Rumsfield are responsible and they must be held accountable.

PS: If you think bringing our troops home out of the quagmire is a "losing issue", you're both cynical (and dont care about our troops lives) and you're dead wrong. Polls show about 60% of the country wants this war over very soon. Only about 40% of the country believes a word the rightwing says anymore. And Kerry and Murtha are far more credible on this issue than anyone on the chickenhawk right.

Proof is Bush got only a 1% bump from the PR blitz and Zarqawi killing this past month. 1% up from 35% to 36%. And the GOP congress has a 24% approval rating. That's about it. And what other good news will Bush of the GOP possibly get? The economy is sliding down now too, all that overspending about to turn into a deep recessionary hangover. Just a question of how quickly.

Bush is the one who is DOA. Or already dead just holding onto power by corrupt means, covering up and blocking investigations, continuing to lie, cheat and steal. This is a criminal administration and congress and you know it. Or if you don't, you must be blind.

There are only two things Bush could do now to improve his popularity, #1 end the war like Kerry and Murtha say, #2 fire Cheney and Rumsfield and replace them with someone honest. Two things Bush won't do.

Military families cheer Murtha at homecoming

More proof. Murtha and Kerry are right. Bushies are dead wrong and lying. The troops don't stand with Bush anymore at all on this war. And they are furious when A-holes like Rove say democrats are cowards who cut and run. Almost half the troops are democrats.

Bush Lies To Europeans About Iraq Being War On Terror. No one over there believes a word he says either. Iraq had nothing to do with Al Qaida or 9-11 and everyone but a dew dittoheads knows that now. thinkprogress.org
