Actually, I wasn't ignoring your point, so much as remaking my point. Which interested me a lot more than your point. I think this is why we go around in circles a lot. I find it useful when I want to change the subject to give a turn signal. Something like "I can see that" followed by "another aspect of this is..." If you don't give me a turn signal, then I will think you are not understanding my point and I will repeat it and repeat it until I see some acknowledgement. Or, more likely, one of your patented "agree to disagrees" when it's not a matter of disagreement but simply that you've lost interest. Can't say that for the approach which says you have to solve the whole problem or none at all. You weren't weaned on cost effectiveness as was I.
