I think Bush's pliancy is one of the top reasons the neo-cons wanted him in there.

He's not exactly the type of guy that would spend hours (or A hour) studying Middle Eastern History to discover the possible ramifications of invading and remaking Iraq.

Yes, Cheney is the #1 power in the White House, and the #1 most dishonest and wrong-headed. Rove is a close second. At least we got rid of Delay who is #3. The trifecta of most corrupt leaders we've ever had. Bush is the frontman.
