It's hard to keep your balls in the air all @ the same time. The Chicken Little effect has people run for cover every time a cloud goes by. The real question to answer is what is different about the market in 1996 from today? I think that the answer is the banks have nothing to gain from selling more gold. They have no paper to put the money into, except perhaps oil paper. But as heady as it is, it is not tech bubble.
