PS: Interesting how you're willing to cite the NY Times when you think they support your points, but give them no credibility at all when they don't.


Lawyers call it "an admission against interest." When a paper functions as a wing of the DNC, facts reported against DNC interests bear more weight - although I know without having to check that the headline didn't emphasize these facts.

What exactly do you mean? Is saying that we should be fearful of another Al Qaeda attack and take steps to prevent it "manipulation?" Usually, you say it's manipulation if you think the threat is being exaggerated or made up. I don't think Bush is making it up at all.
