Coulter is a publicity seeking cartoon character. If she didn't make nonsensical totally outrageous statements no one would pay attention. Apparently in person she is very civil and polite - its only when she's "working" that the crazy statements designed to outrage come out. BTW she has done very well financially and has managed to satisfy her media-whore desires very thoroughly. Taking Coulter seriously is akin to dressing up like Spock and going to a Star Trek convention.
