We get reports every six months like this. Fortunately the seven foot buildup usually moves just a few inches at a time when it does slip.

I dont know the future of California and its earthquake zones, but there has been enough scientific evidence that SOMETHING is bound to happen in a time span a human can relate too that I would be damn nervous if I lived there. Very valuable property could become worthless, not to mention loss of life etc etc. jdn
