Bill, you are wrong about that statement. In fact, the voters of South Dakota are about to undo a blanket restriction on abortion. A great majority of Americans also favor Social Security, Medicare, Student Loan, environmental protection and health care for all.

Bill, Most Americans also favor an increase in the minimum wage. Here in WA state, they could not get enough petition signatures to undo a state law protecting gays.

Democrats support gun ownership. Just not military arsenals in the hands of nut cases. It is a total myth that democrats favor taking away peoples' guns. Not unless you are a criminal, a nut or a domestic terrorist. Democrats also support heterosexual marriage (kerry is against gay marriage, remember?), immigration enforcement and balancing our budgets. It was Clinton who cut spending, balanced budgets and created surpluses. Bush is the biggest deficit spender in the history of the planet. He seems to think there is no tomorrow, or he wants to bankrupt our government so we can't afford to fix any of the huge problems he'll leave us with. Whatever the case is's out of control reckless and hasn't veto'ed a single over-spending bill. Maybe because he made a deal with the corrupt pork barrel lovin' rightwing congress to let them spend as much as they like so long as they don't impeach him.
