The rightwing's corruption is massive, widespread, riddled through the entire rightwing of the GOP from the top on down.

Jefferson is corrupt and I condemn him, but he is a lone wolf and there are no other democrats involved in the scam he pulled. What he did was private and had nothing to do with the democratic party in any way, shape or form. Also Pelosi and others immediately condemned Jefferson and kicked him off his key job. When is the GOP going to start policing its' crooks? They refuse to. They also refuse to investigate their own election fraud which stole the last two elections.

The rightwing corruption is 1000 times bigger than Jefferson, not to mention across the board. It starts with Rove in the White House and Delay in congress setting the example that "cheaters, liars and thieves win". So cheating is encouraged. Gouging and sellingf earmartks for campaign donations is encouraged. Pushing the envelope of ethics and outright demanding cash for legislation like Cunningham did. Abramoff is a huge cog as is Lowry who lobbies exclusively with Jerry Lewis who heads the GOP-run appropriation committe where all our money is doled out.

Then you have the biggest corruption of all, at the very top with Bush-Cheney and big oil. It is no coincidence at all gas prices have doubled on their watch. The fix was in from the day these two oilmen were first nominated.
